BBC Learning English site:Mark's Email Mistake

Today i should make a choice between five listen and gramatical class of bbc site and make a resume.

The class is about Mark that sent a mail to his colleague ally,but,ally havent receive the email ,Mark think that is weird,he is sure that sent the email,but he did mistake.

I think that is an interesting form of learn english,with talks that we can hear.The other class are longer but have the text like support.

Favourite Sport

actually i dont played any sport,only a bit of bicicle and football somes times,but years ago i played a lot of football(in the seleccion of my school) and basketball too but ,when i fracture my finger two time played basketball i leave it.Now i dont like so much played football,i would like practice some sport like muay thai but is late,i'm old to start.

a Flower

I should post about my favourite flower,but i never think what is my favourite before,
is dificult choose one because i dont have a favourite flower.

One to One

I would like talk to Howard Phillips Lovecraft,an american writer of terror and fiction.He is an influence for a lot of writter like Stephen King or Joe R. Lansdale.

About he there is a lot of stories and question that he never answers,indeed about one of his most famous book, the history talk that is based on part of his life,in his search for the true god,i dont believe in that things but i 'd like listen his answer.

Mapocho river

About the Mapocho,I think that the proyect about clean and make the Mapocho river navigable is a very good idea,because is bad to have a brown dirty river that crosses the complete city,is a horrible image for the Santiago city.
I hope that the proyect make it real and we can have a beautiful river in the City,and forget of the old river.

Dancing dog

I have to see a video of a dog dancing with his owner in a competition,and write some think anout my pet,is a funny video, and a inteligent dog ,but i cant post about my pet because i dont have a pet.I dont have time for care an animal now.In the past i had a cat,but that cat only sleep and eat.

Favourite season

I should post what is my favourite season and why,i like soo much the Autumn,i like the Weather in Autumn,and walk in the afternoon is great,talk in a park and see the lancraft of the leaves and the yellow trees.The Winter i like too but for stay in home and see a good movie.The season that i hate is summer i dont like the heat.

I have to write about thin that i like to do a weekend in stgo,i like go to Mephisto Bar in Jorge Alesandri in Ñuñoa,there i can hear music and drink beer with friends,the Necro bar in Bellavista neighborhood is a good aternative for me too,other place is Oxido bar in Purisima(Bellavista neighborhood too ),there i can hear live music,For eat i like San Telmo pizza in Brasil neighborhood,or Chema's pizza,in the Yungay neighborhood.

an animal or a pet

I should post about an animal or a pet that i would want have, in the picture you can see my answer,I always been fascinated by the wolves,they are so powerful but beautiful at the same time,and the tipical image of one wolf barking at the moon is wonderful.

Favourite artist or piece of art

I will post one artist, and a piece of art that i like since a lot of time,indeed when i was a child that piece caught my attention.

First one of my favourite artist is Gustave Dore,a french artist (1832-1883),i like how he ilustraded books like Paradise Lost ,the raven,or the divine comedy.

This is a work for the divine comedy.

And the piece of art is "el grito" by Edvard Munch,the first time when a look it i like because is so
expressive,in th e face of the protagonist is so easy see feeling like frustration,anguish,etc .I like the form of the shapes of the strokes and the colours.

my favourite cd

In that work of make one post to day,now i will post my favourite cd,again is dificult decide only one (i have a lot of favourite cds).

But one of the cds that more listen is Iconoclast by Poema Arcanus,a chilean band of Avantgare Doom metal,this is a conceptual disc, talk about an epoca where the religious images was destroyed,and the important of not believe in thinks of that style,the disc is a criticizes to the form of see or adore the image of the god,the human,the woman,etc.

this cd was very good received by the international comunity of doom metal,because is a new sound,Poema Arcanus have a caracteristic sound in each of they discs.

Favourite actor

I should posting about my favourite actor,I never think that before but maybe is Santiago Segura,is a fat spanish actor of comedy,indeed is the favourite actor of Alex de la Iglesia (one of my favourite directors),I think that is imposible not laugh with his character Jose Maria in the movie El dia de la Bestia.,or in the movie Muertos de la risa.Is dificult to explain what is the funny in he,I think that is an actor made for the comedy.

Beware with the Swine Flu!!!!

I will talk you about the new of the moment, the swine flu, is a mutation of a previus virus, but this is much more dangerous, this virus is more easy to catch. Im feel a little of fear, because, if one person with the virus travels in morning o afternoon by metro would be very bad,a lot of persons could be infected,

I only hope that the preventive measures in the airport make that the swine flu never cross to chile.But is dificult.

Thesis

One of my favourite movies is Thesis by the spanish director Alejandro Amenazar,is a suspence movie of 1995,was the first film of Amenabar,and he won a lot of prizes like the goya Award to best movie,best original indent,best revelation actor,etc.

The movie show us to Angela, an student that prepares his thesis about the audiovisual violence, Figueroa, his thesis director, accidentally discovers a film and found dead the next day. Angela with a classmate of faculty, decided to take the tape, discovering that is a "snuff movie" where a girl is tortured and murdered,Angela and his classmate involved in a lot of problems. Throughout the movie is dificult discover the killer of the film only in the end is possible. I've seen a lot of times but i dont bored.

A field trip

I should post about a field trip. The field trip that i most enjoy was the field trip to The Juncal norte glaciar,i went with my classmates (fifteen aprox) of glaciology class, The Juncal is in the andes of the fifth región. We walk a lot for arrive to juncal, in fact walk the most part of the first day for rise a camp, and the next day we walk more hours for arrive finaly to Juncal, before we had to cross a cold river with a string. This field trip was my favourite because i can see that what i learn in class, walk on a part of the glaciar (we can’t walk in the part more elevate because we dont had the necesary equipment) and take photographs.

I dont have something bad that say about that field trip, maybe the long walk, but was necesary and the beautiful view of the lanscapes make me forget the fatigue.Other think bad was that we had to wake up so early to meet for go to juncal in the first day (we meet at the 6 am in the front of University).Anyway I think that the good think was more and was interesting know the Juncal.

my favourite photograph

I should post my favourite photograph, is hard to choose only one, but I chose this photograph taken in the moon valley,in the summer of this year.is my favourite because that travel was improvised,well, all the photographs of these travel are special for my because remember me good moments.
I was accompanying to my girlfriend in calama visiting his parents,we were bored and decided that we would go to san pedro because is near to calama, we were going for one week but we stay three week visiting a lot of beautiful and interesting places,like The Tatio Geysers,moon valley,mart valley ,and the altiplanic lagoons.

my favourite place...

Today i should make a post about my favourite place in chile,and again is dificult for me choose only one option,there is a lot of beautiful place in my contry.

But if i should decide for only one,i think that is the The Calafquen Lake ,in south,in the ninth region ,near to Licanray,is a beautiful and quit place,where i swiming , travel across de forest or fishing,also there you can camping in the shore of the lake and lite a campfire.

In summer are not so much tourist,but depend of the place that chosen.

In the Licanray town exist a variety of camp and cabins,but i prefer travel a little and no stay in the town.I have been there three times,the last time was one year a go,and dont fell so good because there was more tourist than usual.The first and second time i went with my girlfriend and she love it too,and the last time i went with two friends.

my favourite english song???

I have a lot of favourite english song and is difficult to choose only one,but one of my favourite is One Last Goodbye of a England band called Anathema (im so anxious because they will have a gig in chile in June).This band sound like experimental ambient rock with lirics a little depresived,anyway,this lirycs talk us about lose of a loved person by his death,but this person still in the dreams of the protagonist of song and he say that seeing and felling haunts him,because he awake alone.

I think that i like this song because have a simple but efective and emotional music and liric...

I forget the bbc post!!!!!

In the class of the past week i should post at least 150 words,but i post some think has no relation with that.Well in that class I work in the bbc site dedicated to learning English,where there is a lot of articles in english,like world news (I read one about the water crisis very interesting), articles and videos about vocabulary,grammar and pronunciation (here you should used earpieces), also i play one games (I never knew what i doing).

In the bbc exist a download section in pdf and mp3,with varied content,like the Flatemates episodes,or the world news.

Also exist a comunnity where you can join in with learners and teachers,through of blogs

to finish,I think that is a interesting site for learn english,but is so big that you can missing in there somes times.

H.R. GIGER

HR GIGER or Hans Ruedi GiGer,graphic worked and sculptor, he was born on 5 th of february of 1940 in Coira,Switzerland.

knowing between public for design and develop the creature and somes scenarios of the movie Alien the eighth passenger ,bassed in he past works like Necronomicon V (For his work in the scenarios he earned and Oscar in 1980).

Also participate in the estetic part of other movies like Species.And his design was used in front of many books and discs.

Giger used to the airbrush making surrealism images and nightmare landscapes.His mix style between human beings and mechanique forms recive the name of Biomechanical.

There is a museum dedicated to him,in Gruyeres city,Switzerland.

blog inauguration

I create this blog for my english three class, i should post every week if i want earn the two points!!!.

The blog will be a place where you can read my opinion about books or movies of my interest, also i will show you paintings and graphic works, maybe somes poems,etc,etc. Also places where i like to travel to.
